Deep, intense ruby-red colour and fruity perfume, with notes of almonds and dark fruit
This Ripasso has the typical characteristics from this traditional, particular production method called ‘Ripasso’. The hand selected, best wine of the vintage, Valpolicella Classico Superiore, is re-fermented on the Amarone vinacce, to increase the alcoholic percentage and give birth to a wine much richer in colour, extracts and flavours.
The Arduini family’s vineyards were founded in the 1940’s. From the beginning for the Arduini family, fine wine isn’t just a business, it’s a way of life and love.
It has a deep, intense ruby-red colour and fruity perfume, with notes of almonds and dark fruit. On the palate it is soft and warm, full-bodied with deep notes of fruit, tobacco, chocolate and earth of the local Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara grapes.
To serve at 16-18°C, uncorking the bottle one to three hours before drinking. Excellent when served with red, roasted meat, strong sauces and matured cheeses.
