The Reserve Des Armoiries vineyard has been mainly implanted in the town of Chateauneuf-de-Gadagne. The Terres d’Avignon winemakers have thus decided to combine the arms of the village to the main soil selection, known as ‘Reserves des Armoiries’. In 1994 the first ‘Reserves des Armoiries’ bottle was uncorked and since its fame has steadily grown.
Intense ruby colour. Fruit blackcurrant nose with notes of spices. Unctuous and very supple mouth with nice spicy flavours of liquorice. Excellent matched with vegetable pie, barbequed meats, veal cutlet with cream St Marcellin.
