The Gavel wine is created from the regions finest grapes cultivated from selected sun-drenched vineyards. Our winemaker produces elegant, fruit-driven wines with fine structure using unrivalled skills to maintain perfection from grape to glass. The wine is a deep red colour with plums, cranberries and spicy cinnamon oak aromas on the nose. These flavours continue on the palate, which also shows an abundance of cherries and blackberry fruit flavours. This wine would be well suited to beef Wellington or shepherds pie. Serve at 16-18°C
